Six Flags Magic Mountain is open year round, and will be closed on select weekdays in November and December, beginning November 1, 2023. Their water park is open select days beginning Memorial Day weekend. The park typically opens at 10:30 am, however, closing times vary. See the operating calendar in the ticket section above for operating hours during your selected date range.

How much is parking at Six Flags Magic Mountain?

General parking is $40. Front gate parking is $50. Valet Parking is $65. Please note that parking may only be paid for using a card or mobile payment method.

Can you bring water bottles into Six Flags Magic Mountain?

You may bring an unopened and sealed water bottle or empty refillable drink bottles and cups. Glass containers are not permitted.

Can you take snacks into Six Flags Magic Mountain?

Food, beverages, and coolers may not be brought into the park, with exceptions for food allergies and infant food in non-glass jars. Guests who suffer from food allergies may receive a medical sticker from Six Flags Magic Mountain Security which will allow them to bring up to two sealable sandwich bags (7×8 inches) and one snack to accommodate their visit (such as a piece of fruit, or a fruit bar, or a snack that fits in a sandwich bag). One small soft-sided cooler may be brought into the park to carry these items. No outside beverages are permitted.

Are pets permitted in Six Flags Magic Mountain?

Pets are not permitted in the park, with the exception of service animals. Kennel services are provided at the park, proof of rabies vaccination is required for boarding your pet. Please ask a parking attendant for the location outside of the park.

What if it rains?

The park contains all types of activities, many of which are not dependent upon good weather, including indoor shows, games and arcades. While some rides and shows may close due to rain or wind, they are opened as soon as the weather clears. Refunds and rainchecks are not offered. There are certain weather circumstances that may cause the entire park to close earlier than scheduled or not open at all. Please check the park's website prior to visiting on days when weather may be a concern.

Are strollers and wheelchairs available for rent while at the park?

Strollers, wheelchairs, and electronic wheelchairs (ECVs) are rented on a first-come, first-serve basis in Six Flags Plaza behind Guest Relations.

Can I bring my selfie stick or monopod into the park?

Selfie sticks, monopods, and similar items are not allowed inside Six Flags Magic Mountain.
